All luggage, all choir members intact...though tired.. in Dublin! We got on our bus at 10:00 to set off for a bus tour of Dublin, to give us an overview of the city and its rich history. Knowing that we were pretty tired, our great local guide, Barbara Hunter tried not to overload us with information but wanted to provide us with enough orientation to walk ourselves around the town. We stopped near Trinity College for lunch on our own and then checked into our hotel. Not bad at all. Dinner in the hotel at 19:00 with some preparation for a full day of touring tomorrow, punctuated with a concert at noon. As we arrived it was 8 degrees C and gray clouds have now turned to light rain.

Ooo, this is so fun. Thanks for arranging this online tour for me here in WA state. I'm enjoying the trip with you and didn't even have to go through security or be crunched into a jet seat. And the temperature in Dublin? It's the same as here! We have a light rain today (and had it yesterday) so our weather must be in sympathy. Solution? Wine!! There's a reason those dogs carry it in casks around their necks. Or was it brandy? Never mind...you get the drift. It will warm you up. And do a jig. Thanks again, Gail James, Olympia, WA 98503...(friend of Konnie Gault.)
Thank you so much to Incanto for providing this blog, updates and concert video. Before the trip it was so very informative and got us all excited about the adventure.
Now for those of us at home, it is priceless. I sat here this morning in front of the computer listening to the UTube of the concert at St. Patricks. What an incredible experience for this small group from Santa Barbara!
